	Sportsground Catering Licensed Bar Function Room Training Room

The ground (Officially named the London Marathon Playing Fields, Redbridge) Was bought by The London Playing Fields Foundation From The London Postal Sports & Social Club in 2000.

The London Playing Fields Foundation is the capital's only strategic body responsible for the protection, provision and promotion of playing fields.

Founded in 1890 its original objectives were to safeguard playing fields from commercial development and provide sport and recreation for London's financially disadvantaged. Over a century later its mission remains unchanged and, by adhering to usage policies underpinned by sports equity principles, it aims to increase and improve participation for all social groups. It is committed to:

• Increasing participation in sport and physical activity
• Widening access to sporting opportunities for all groups and individual
• Improving the quality of the sporting experience of all participants so that their interest and involvement is sustained

We have bar and catering services at the ground, with a main Function room and a Brand New training room.
Sports Ground: The ground is designated an FA County Junior Football centre providing nine mini soccer pitches. There are 3 full-size soccer pitches and 2 cricket pitches with 3 outdoor practice nets. we are commited to developing girls and womens football on the site, and in addition to three womens clubs playing regular league football, Redbridge Ladies FC hosts a Saturday morning football clinic for girls.
 

Catering: At weekends we provide cooked food and hot beverages, availble all day. Also a selection of cold snacks & energy/soft drinks. We can also cater for clubs who have to supply food and drink in accordance with their league regulations.
 

Licensed Bar: During licensing hours we have two bars. Pool and darts can be played in the bar. Two large TVs can also be viewed.
 
Function Room: Adjacent to our Main Bar area is our superb Function Room. Totally self-contained and with it's own separate bar, it boasts a corner stage and large wooden dance floor, and is able to accommodate up to 150 guests. A very popular venue for Wedding receptions, birthday parties, award nights and all types of celebrations.
 
Training Room: Providing a brand new training facility, which can also accommodate a range of events
